NEAGEP is a consortium of academic institutions with a shared commitment to increase the participation of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) groups who earn STEM doctoral degrees and enter the STEM workforce.  Through inter-institutional collaborations, we seek to develop models and implement programming to promote the pathway to PhDs and STEM careers. We work together to develop and disseminate best practices to broaden opportunities for BIPOC undergraduates, support and mentor BIPOC graduate students and STEM professionals, and study ways to remove obstacles to diversity in STEM.
